New and gently-used backpacks along with new school supplies are collected for children going back to school each fall. Churches interested in collecting supplies, please contact us. |

Entire meals are given to our Worcester families at Thanksgiving by area churches. We are also seeking churches to help us with food during the Christmas and school breaks. |
| Weekly devotional time along with sports and games at the GBV Gym held on Sundays from 2:00-3:30. |

Area churches collect gifts during the year to give to the needy children at GBV and other Worcerster Housing Authorities to whom we minister. We welcome other churches to join us in this effort. |
| A week of Bible teaching and fun in the country for teens at the Fairwoods Christian Recreation grounds in Uxbridge. |

Kid-friendly groceries are collected and given to families who have children at home during school vacation time. |
| Seasonally appropriate clothing for needy families are brought to various Worcester Housing Centers for distribution. |

GBV is the home of the largest transitional homeless program in the state of Massachusetts.
Walking In Light networks with churches and individuals to supply basic household needs for families in GBV and other areas. |
| A 'no Bible experience necessary' Bible teaching and fellowship time held every Tuesday from 1-3 PM at the Second Congregational Church of Douglas, MA. Includes: a Bible study/discussion time as well as coffee and snacks (child care also provided). |
