Walk of Love
by Wally Haggstrom, founder of Walking In Light, Inc.

If Christ were here on earth as He was two thousand years ago, what would you do for Him?
If there should be a news bulletin that the feet that trod Palestine were actually treading the roads in New England, what would you do for Him?
I can imagine that there would be a superabundance of delighted hearts and great crowds of people seeking to catch a glimpse of Him.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR HIM?

Does He humger?
Would you give Him a meal even if it were your last?

Does He thirst?
Would you give Him your drink even if it was the hottest day of the year?

Is He in need of a coat?
Would you strip your coat off to ensure Him warmth on the coldest day of winter?

WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR HIM?
WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO?
WOULD YOU CAST YOURSELF AT HIS DEAR FEET?
If He needed you to be a soldier, would you enlist in His army?
Would you die for Him?

Beloved, do you know that you can do all this today!
Jesus has left His poor and afflicted people.
Open your eyes and you will see them everywhere.
In the city of Worcester, in our small communities, in all our churches,
you will find the poor and afflicted.

Their stomachs are hungry for they need food and the Bread of Life.
Their hearts are parched for they need the Living Water.

They need coats to keep warm and the Cloak of Righteousness to battle the cold darkness of sin.

You meet them;they come to you;they are destitute and afflicted.

Do you know whom it was you denied at your door?

"In as much as you did it NOT unto one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it NOT to me." Matthew 25:45
